Why I'm Running

Why I'm Running

Putting Beaches–East York first.

I am asking for your support to nominate me as the Liberal candidate to succeed Nate Erskine-Smith. I've got big shoes to fill — Nate has represented Beaches–East York with spirit, dedication, and integrity for over ten years. His commitment to our community and our livelihood has set a strong example of what responsive public service looks like, and I'm grateful for the work he's done on our behalf.

For me, putting Beaches–East York first starts with something simple: showing up. Being present in the riding to listen, learn, and engage with everyone. Being present is the foundation of effective and accountable public representation and service.

My commitment is to continue advocating for Beaches–East York and ensuring our community is included in the national programs and decisions that matter. From commitments in housing construction, affordable housing, and environmental protection to skills training and resources for new Canadians — I will make sure Beaches–East York is at the table. We deserve a strong voice in Ottawa, founded on strong local ties, and I'm asking for your support and trust to be that strong voice.

Putting our riding first means being accessible, being accountable, and being present. It means protecting what we have and what we value. It means collaborating with residents, local organizations, and partners across industries and geographies to strengthen the place we call home.
